Zoltan Bernath - Lead Integrative Therapist
At Lélekút (SoulPath), we are dedicated to providing exceptional mental health support that aligns with international standards and a compassionate, client-centered approach. Lélekút is led by Zoltan Bernath, an integrative Therapist with extensive experience across diverse clinical settings.
With a background in Employee Assistance Programs, NHS IAPT services, trauma and crisis support, school counselling, bereavement care, hospice care, and working with survivors of sexual abuse, Zoltan’s approach is deeply rooted in empathy, empowerment, and experience. He believes in fostering a safe and supportive space for individuals to explore their journey toward self-awareness, healing, and personal growth.
Beyond traditional therapeutic settings, Zoltan has also gained experience in social work, particularly working with homeless people. As an editor of Fedél Nélkül, the Hungarian street paper similar to The Big Issue, he has further contributed to supporting and giving a voice to those experiencing homelessness. He completed Clinical Pastoral Education training to become a hospital chaplain in the United States and achieved certification as an NLP Master Practitioner, enriching his practice with diverse perspectives on supporting mental and emotional well-being. These experiences broadened his understanding of the human experience and deepened his capacity for empathy, further enhancing his therapeutic practice beyond traditional settings.
After completing his MSc in Integrative Psychotherapy & Counselling from the Sherwood Psychotherapy Training Institute, Zoltan undertook extensive further supervised clinical practice, honing his therapeutic skills across a range of settings and client issues. This period of hands-on additional training and further specialized learning in areas such as end-of-life therapy and couples counselling solidified his expertise and commitment to integrative psychotherapy.
Zoltan’s dedication to ongoing professional development and high standards of practice led to the awarding of the European Certificate of Psychotherapy (ECP). He is also a registered member of the UK Council for Psychotherapy (UKCP), adhering to its ethical guidelines and continuous learning requirements.
Zoltan’s gentle and motivating approach is at the heart of Lélekút's ethos – to support and guide individuals through life’s challenges, empowering them to realize their full potential. As we expand our platform, Lélekút remains committed to providing holistic and integrative therapy that meets each client's mental health needs.
